The hold
Lowest part of the ship, used to store food and beverages for the crew as well as gun powder and bullets.
I don't guarantee for historical correctness here - the hold turned out to be less documentated than the other parts of the ship (understandably - most tourists prefer taking pics of dangerous looking gun decks or the luxury of the captain's cabin). I followed McKays drawings as far as possible and added some details (doors, stairs a.s.o.) being logical to me.
I thought about filling the space with barrels, bags a.s.o. - maybe I'll do someday. At the moment I find it quite impressive having those empty spaces, showing the proportions (just take a look at the doors having 1,8 meters height).
The McKay drawings include one little detail (not showing up here) that puzzles my mind: some small space at the absolute stern called "Ladies' hole". I'm wondering what it's good for - it doesn't seem to have any doors or scuttle to enter - is it a joke? If anybody knows - leave a comment.
